IM ErroneousDecision

Bio Erroneous Decision was formed by J.J. and David in mid-November, 2008. They use their teenage angst and mental deficiencies to come up with music. It all started with a band called the V/P Project. In 2005, V and David formed the V/P project, along with Nick. JJ was then asked to join, after forming a friendship with Alex. After personalities clashed, and Alex, David, and JJ realized they were never going to be able to make decisions, the V/P project was finished after one song. In 2007, JJ and Dave, wanted to do something that would mix their eclectic tastes in music. Something that would have the same aggression as pioneering bands like Minor Threat, and Black Flag, with a more modern spin. The result was a very bland type of punk that has been overdone. Wondering how they could stay true to themselves, but make unique and fun music, with meaning. It wasn’t until mid-November 2008 that JJ had an idea. He wrote the riff to the song that would later become "This Song Is NOT Metal" and that was it! They knew what they would play, and have spent many hours trying to describe themselves, as they don’t fit one type of genre. They put their heads together, and had it, “if The Casualties had intercourse with The Used and had a baby, that baby would have unprotected hooker sex with Anti-Flag who in turn would bear a baby with down syndrome and that baby's name would be Erroneous Decision.” So now they had a genre, songs written, and a drummer and guitarist. They reached to friend Casey to play bass, and with in a week played their first show, on December 5th they played Rage-fest in Lynn, Massachusetts along side their favorite local bands such as And Then There Were None (Tooth and Nail records) and Phone Calls From Home (Red Blue Records). The show was a success, and they knew they had something. Casey soon left the band, and then John Brophy stepped into the picture. Having the most talent in the band, he not only made the songs sound better with his god-like bass skills, but was also as serious as JJ and David. In December, the trio recorded their first EP live over two days in David’s mother’s basement. The 6 song disk is raw, hard, varies in genre, and was taken on in the spirit of 80’s DIY, where a band goes into a basement, kicks out some jams, someone in the band mixes it, and you have yourself a kick ass 20 minutes filled with the passion of three kids who love music, and just want to have fun. They have promoted them selves like there i no tomorrow, sending thousands o messages o pure volume, and myspace, and using their ties i the scene t play shows o all kinds. Their hard work paid off when they earned a spot o pure volume’s charts i all o their genres i both plays and downloads. Since then, they have been booking shows, and have been a part o other shows, and are currently booked t play Rage-fest North 3 with established acts and Warped Tour veterans such a Just Surrender, Monty Are I Ice Nine Kills, Vallon, Phone Calls From Home, and more, a well a the “Fuck Your Tickets Festival” with Michael Fights The Dragon, Aislin, Dear Dallas, and more. They are also heading into the studio t record their first L “Make U Your First” i the coming months, and have plans t play any show they can, work a hard a they can, promote, practice, promote some more, and anything else necessary to succeed.
